"What a beauty." – Ian Baker Finch

Upon opening in June 2004, Glencairn became an instant hit. It confirmed that ClubLink's bold decision to develop an old-world style course distinct from the company's other fine courses was the right one. Inspired by Scotland's Muirfield Golf Club, the 27-hole Glencairn gives golfers in Canada an opportunity to experience the uniqueness and flavour of authentic Scottish golf. That character is defined by dramatic sod-wall bunkers that are strategically woven into the course layout. The only water in play is a small burn on four holes that appears centuries old. In fact, the burn was designed and engineered to collect and recycle much of the course's surface water. Fescue grasses frame bentgrass fairways where balls bounce and roll through humps and hollows. Bump-and-run greens and the ever-changing wind demand great imagination.
